Coursiv and NightCafe Launch a $15,000 Global BeyondAI Art Challenge

Between January 6 and January 22, creators everywhere are invited to imagine what the future could look like when people and artificial intelligence co-create together.

Coursiv and NightCafe have teamed up to launch the BeyondAI Art Challenge, a worldwide competition exploring how people, communities, and identities might change as AI becomes a reliable, accessible creative tool.

The BeyondAI Art Challenge has a clear but ambitious goal: to make AI accessible to everyone by showing what it can do as a creative tool and proving that anyone can use it. By combining prompt-based learning with Coursiv and giving access to top AI art models through NightCafe, the challenge shows that creating with AI is not about technical skills. Instead, it is about learning to guide and shape intelligent systems with thoughtful prompts.

A Future Beyond Fear

Many discussions about AI today focus on uncertainty. BeyondAI offers a different perspective. Rather than focusing on fear or disruption, this challenge invites creators to imagine what happens after people and AI learn to live and work together, when AI becomes a trusted creative tool guided by human ideas.

What Creators Are Invited to Explore

Participants are welcome to interpret the BeyondAI theme in their own way. Submissions can explore ideas like:

Life with AI: Everyday moments where AI enhances creativity, learning, or well-being.
Worlds and identities in transition: People, cities, and environments transformed by intelligence, opening new ways of living and connecting.

Entries should be 10-second AI-generated video artworks, giving creators a short but powerful way to share bold ideas about the future.

How to Enter the BeyondAI Art Challenge

It's easy to get started:

Sign up as a participant: Register with your email and repost the official challenge announcement. The competition is powered by Gleam.io, a platform trusted by over one million businesses worldwide. Participants must be 18 years or older to participate and claim prizes using public Instagram accounts. No geographic restrictions apply to this challenge — participants worldwide are encouraged to register!
Create your artwork: Create a 10-second AI-generated video that imagines a future where people and AI thrive together. You can use any AI tools, including NightCafe’s AI art models.
Submit on Instagram: Post your video as a public Reel and:

Tag @coursiv_io and @nightcafestudio
Use #BeyondAIChallenge
Offer a collaboration post to both accounts.

Judging, Prizes, and Key Dates

Coursiv will select the top 200 entries based on quality and their fit with the theme. A panel of top AI art creators will judge the finalists, and the top five artists will share a $15,000 prize pool.

Submissions open: January 6–16th, 2026.
Winners announced: January 22nd, 2026.

Judging & Jury

Coursiv will shortlist the top 200 submissions based on quality and thematic relevance. A jury of leading AI art creators will evaluate final entries:

@mclalan_ (366K followers): Recognized for anime-style imagery combined with modern analog photography
@ai_art_insanity (388K followers): Renowned for transforming iconic anime characters into cinematic AI visuals

Entries will be scored on four key criteria, including creativity, originality, emotional impact, and relevance to the BeyondAI theme. Shortlisted entries will be showcased in the public gallery after the winners are announced.
